has anyone tried to fabricate their own body kit or skirts etc. isnt it possible to take sheet metal, mold it or fold it whatever to the perfect shape of a hood scoop or fender flares. then attach it to the body of the car and then apply bondo, smooth it out, sand it.....then paint it! think it will work, or does anyone have any other ideas?

yes it will work but instead of glassing it or bondo weld then grind but u need some practice it took me a long long time to make my friend some flares
