One of my friends has a set of '97 headlights that he wants to sell to me for $75, the only thing is, is that he had taken one of the lens of the headlight, but he said that they are perfect, and that he would put them back together.

I was thinking about telling him that I would just put them back together, and go ahead and pick them up.


What would I need to use to re-seal the healight? Would silicone glue work?

yeah silicon glue will do the job like the stuff they use for sealing fish tanks (hint where you can get it ) make sure you goop that sucka good though, I'm always having problems with water getting in my headlights not cool

If there is still enough original sealant in there, you could just rebake it and press it back together. Just a thought sir!

put it back in the oven for about 4 minutes at 350 degrees F. then press the lens against the housing
