you all know that i did my bodywork and paint myself..... this is to tell you that if you do it yourself DON'T USE RATTLE CAN PRIMER!!!
i used that and then shot regular primer over that, well, now i have a few bubbles that i gotta sand out/remove, and then re-shoot parts
luckily the spots are small, largest is the size of a penny (which is pretty big IMO).... but this sucks!
i'm lucky that i have a lot of stuff left over... and the spots are so small i can use a air brush to fix it, but i can't fix it till it's warm out and i'm home..... meaning, next summer! (fuck!!!!!!)

it came out great, it's the rattle can primer that caused that to happen..... most people won't even notice them...
i wanted to paint the door handles, but i'm leaving the top half black, so sue me, i like the red/black scheme
garage jobs usually end up the best, but then again, you gotta figure, whatever a shop does, multiply that by three in time and effort. there is nothing more satisfying that doing stuff to your car by yourself
i've done about 1/3 of what i need to to make it perfect, but to the ordinary person, the car is fine, but i'm not ordinary, i notice even the smallest black dot (or spec of dirt) but that comes from staring at the sides of the car from hours and hours on end (bodywork and sanding)
