there was like 3 or 4 places i had to add just a drop of paint in the fenders where some red was showing, otherwise its was perfect and shines like nobodys business. i have heard horror stories about maacok, im happy it didn't happen to me.

I wouldn't go to maaco as they typically use enamel or one-stage paints for their cheaper paint jobs. They don't spend much time at all prepping the car. They do it in a day. Body shops do it in weeks. If you want to go to T&L Auto Body, I can hook you up with exterior repaint for 1200. If you want a color change and repainting door jams, under hood, and trunk, it'd be around 1800 or so. You can see pics of my car at http://www.importvenom.com

Yeah sure...T&L does really good quality work. Just let me know when you're ready. A full color change will realistically take 3-4 weeks depending on how busy they are when you want it done.

it all depends on the type of enamel, and different stage paints, i myself used a Polyurathane Enamel, with a Clearcoat on my paintjob, done by myself. Acrylic Enamels usually are one stage, but you gotta buff them often because there is no clearcoat keeping it shiny, and the color fades quick, (why you use clearcoat).

they do it in a day, i took a few days wet sanding the car for prep, shot the car, waited a week, wet sanded again, and buffed it, you can see the results in my sig pic. (i'll say again, go to another place, not macco)
