Anybody know if you can open up altezza tails by baking them like the headlights? You think they'd look good painted to match the car? btw-I don't have a set here to look at so if it turns out you can just unscrew them feel free to call me a dumbass lol

I know you can, but the plastic is very cheap and thin, so you have to use a lower temp. A couple members have tried it and some melted thier tails.

Ask HighOnPsi. He painted (well his are painted) his white to match his car. Looks great imo.

You can take them apart fairly easy. I did mine a while ago before I sold them. I put mine in the oven for about 10 minutes, not sure what temp though. The plastic cover just comes right off after the glue heats up. It looks good color matched to the car. Here is a pic of mine w/painted altezzas. Hope this helps.
