#55838, "shaved handle/molded door cap primer pic"

I finished this a day or so ago and just want to post whore/brag/rejoice some. So far I have basically finished shaving/molding the handles, door caps, outer spoiler holes (had the 3pc wing molded into a 1pc), rain rails in the roof, antenna, and rear wiper just have to put some finishing touches on parts and primer them. I have just been kind of messing around with the car the last few months and not actually putting anytime into it except for the past week or so. I have also been doing little things to the interior and engine bay but no pics at this time. I will post more updates in a few months emoji

BTW car still has a blown tranny emoji going on a year now emoji I am looking into building the engine and getting a quife (sp?) lsd and have the thing running for next summer emoji It will probably end up being more of a weekend drag car.

looking really good there, i'm sure you'll agree with me, sanding sucks!!! a way to see if everything is straight, wait till primer dries, and spray it with water, look for ripples/whatnot in the paint, if there are some, sand it flat,

dude, is that rattle can primer? you are gonna need to sand that all down, paint won't stick to that!!! (i had to sand my entire hood/ door/fender/rear quarter panel down becasue i had rattle can) use the professional primer, use a sprayer for that

but that is only if it's rattle can...... just a word of warning

paint might stick to rattle can in the begining, but it WILL come off eventually. might not be for a week/ month/ year, whatnot, but it will come off eventually.

I wish you luck.

You cannot run at the track with shaved handles. Saftey precaution. They have to be able to get into the car in the case of an emergency.

ya and most of the time, if the wreck is severe enough, the doors are jammed anyways. do you ever see a fireman or emt running up to a car and just opening the door by its handle? no

Yes its spray can primer I know the entire car will have to be sanded down when I paint it. I may just primer it black and leave it like that much cheaper then a paint job. I am starting to get sick of the thing so I have no idea what I am going to do with it emoji Yeah its been down for like a year having a turbo daily driver makes it easier lol.

What about Brent Rau's car? no handles.

Edit I ran it once when the handles where first done (well they where shaved but had more waves then the ocean) and nobody said anything, besides like its that hard to just swap the door off for a day emoji

Well, go to the sign company and have stick on door handles made. lol. When you go to the track have decals made that appear to be handles. Only thing is going through tech.
