What is good to use to take off the paint from the plastic door panels...and what's the best way to take out the paint from the speaker grill....cotton swabs? The guy at a paintshop told me that paint thinner will melt the plastic.

Try a pressure cleaner. It worked great for me.

Well i had the same problem. I primered my door panel and it looked like shit so i had to redo it. I used paint thinner and it came off fine. Didn't melt the plastic. At least it didnt mine lol.

Disclaimer: If it does melt the plastic, im not responsible lol.

If u want to go ahead and use paint thinner...I would suggest just applying some to the backside of the pannel first and see what happens...should help to ease your mind

I found this stuff at home depot. I forgot what its called, but its for removing graffitti. Never tried it but its suppose to remove paint from plastic, glass, even vinyl safely.
