just cause the keys look alike dont mean they are the same. Those keys are just like the ones for the house except they are round, they have diffrent grooves and shit that makes each key unique. So ronnie i would go ahead and grab that one if i was you and if you go that route and you wanna get rid of your gap you might want to remove your latching system, i know a few people on the board have done that

if its not stock and made of metal. I.e. glass or fiber, GET THE PINS. period. I dont care how good the hood is made. Ask those around here , 10-30 bucks is not a lot to save your hood , windshield and maybe your life.

oh yeah, back to the post, i thought about those myself. That type of lock is also impossible to pick. just a FYI.

I'm gonna use a BRAND new drill bit....nice and sharp one.

Oh yeh and VIS pre drills holes on the underside of the hood for pins.

Just use a very sharp drill bit on slow and you should be fine emoji

Ronnie, did you decide to pick up those hood pins. Let us know how they work out for you if you do. I'm looking to get a CF hood down the road and wouldn't mind the info.

Well I bought regular hood pins. I"M NOT PUTTING THEM ON!!!

I think I'm gonna go with the locking ones, I rested the pins on my hood and it just looked like shit.

And no my dash is not painted. I have the stock black dash installed.

u want to sell the ones u bought... have pics of them? I need to get some fairly soon. what do u guys think of the colored anodized ones.. blue, red, etc? i was thinking of maybe goin w/ blue to match my color scheme (blue unerbody neon, m3 mirrors, interior neon, hvac, etc). but maybe aluminum would look better w/ the chrome projectors and hypersilver wheels.

Anyone know anyone who can help me tune this in the Pittsburgh area (Greensburg)?
