How did you do that? Also, think if you put on some clear coat that will prevent it from gettin real dirty?

walk through:

buy duplicolor(not krylon fusion) primer, paint, and clearcoat
buy 320 grit sandpaper(i could only find 320 in the multipack)

washed the panels with soap
sanded the panels with 320 grit sandpaper
washed the panels with soap again
dried(nothing thats gonna leave lint)

taped off the sections with stationary masking tape & newspaper.

i did this outside, so between every coat i had to wipe dust and tree shit off. i did end up getting a few spots of shit and bugs in my clearcoat but its barely noticeable. at night i made a 'tent' out of garbage bags inside my basement, as to be dust free

1 thin coat of primer...wait 5 minutes
1 more thin coat of primer...wait 10 minutes
1 thick coat of primer(sometimes 2 thick coats)...wait 1 hour

1 thin coat of paint...wait 10 minutes
1 more thin coat of paint...wait 15 minutes
1 thick coat of paint..wait 15 minutes.
1 more thick coat of paint...wait 15 minutes
'dusting' with paint to even up the thickness and tone of the paint

let it dry overnight

1 thin coat clearcoat...wait 5 minutes
1 more thin coat clearcoat...wait 10 minutes
1 thick coat clearcoat...wait 10 minutes
1 thick coat clearcoat...wait 15 minutes
another 'dusting' with clearcoat to even it up

let the clearcoat dry a few hours before you even touch it, it takes alot longer than the paint to dry

for taping off over painted sections you can try to use painters masking tape. it wouldnt even stick to my dried paint at all...s o i used stationary masking tape and only got one small rip. defintly let the paint dry overnight before u tape over it

Looks very good. Looks just like I did mine except your is white where mine is silver. You can touch up the white very easily with white model paint. Turned out great. Keep up the good work.
