is the beam like out of control or what? is the beam just like the stockers but much brighter? is everything exactly the same? i heard it was very despersed and it shines everywhere if you don't have projectors. and hey, do you have any pix of hid w/ stockers for me? please

The HID with the stock housings is way better than with projectors. There is problems with the light going everywhere because the light housings aren't made for HID but I noticed that it got even worse when I put them in my dual projectors that I had. I think I have some pictures of them in my stock housings somewhere. They'd be on my other computer so I'd have to find them. And, if you live in an area where the police are really strict, I would stay away from the 8000k kit. The beam is extremely blue and will draw a lot of unwanted attention to you. You'd be safer getting a 4300k kit. The beam is white and is brighter than any other kit.

They are about twice as bright with the projectors as far as glare to oncoming cars is concerned. If you wanted to take the time and take the housings apart on the projectors and make a better light cut-off then they would be bad ass. I was just too lazy to do it.

why did you put 8/15/03 on there? also, where can i get a hanabi 8000k hid kit for less than 500. i dont know if bruces speed still has the deal or not.

btw, notice that i dont care if they are illegal or not, who is really gonna pull you over for trying to be safer? besides, i feel lawsuit coming on because "certain special" cars can have hid but all other cars cant? sounds fishy...

copied this off the thread in the hangout of dsmtuners it pertains to HiD kits, not vehicles equipped oem with HiD

Hids are illegal according to this site www.liteswap.com sooo A little bit of background. NHSTA/DOT has been trying to introduce new laws to regulate the sale of HID... well.. they just decided to BAN ALL HID KITS. They do not have a set regulation because HID does not use a filament.. therefore, no matter how accurate the HID kit is, it fails because of that ONE requirement. Well, DUH, HID has no filament, so it automatically fails.

5,000 dollars perday to each vendor who sells them after this date.

Now, I really don't believe this because for one how can this have been going on without ANYBODY knowing about it(at least I haven't heard it), and second what about ALLLLLLLL the vehicles that have OEM HID kits? I don't think that this site is legit and since they claim to be "liquidating" their inventory..their prices are not good at all. I can go to pep boys and get the same thing. Anyways...

All hid kits, unless they are OEM, have been illegal anyway. It says that on most of the websites that sell them.

seems a little pricey considering what their for...

"We're the middle children of history, man. No purpose or great depression. Our great war is a spiritual war; our great depression is our lives. We've all been raised on television to believe that one day we'd all be millionaires and movie gods and rock stars. But we won't. And we're slowly learning that fact. And we're very , very pissed off"
