i've seen a few eclipses out there with their center piece that says ECLIPSE taken off. how easy is this?? will it work all right?? or will it leak or something??

just peel the letters off. It's pretty easy and won't affect anything.

yeah it's just a sticker. I think it looks alot better with the letters. I was rearended last winter, and it took awile for the body shop to get the sticker, so I had it without the sticker for about a month, I like it better with the sticker. It's been four monthes and they still didn't get the rear trunk panel yet, I gotta stop by on thursday and see whats up. They got one but it broke when they closed the hatch so they had to order another one.

Taking the letters off is easy. I took mine off about 6 months ago and really like the look.

I stopped using my stock center peice though because the sun had faded around the letters and there is a ghost image of where the letters use to be.

Is there anyway to get rid of this? Anyone else notice this problem?

Wax the center piece and it should all look even. The wax brings out the shine in the plastic.

hmm thats a good idea. my ghost letters were starting to grow on me tho. i like the clean look myself...took off all the stickers on the back end. just got a digital camera so ill have to post some pics when i get a chance
