Anyone with racing seats: could you tell me the length between the mounting holes on your brackets and what kind of brackets you have.
I have R-1 Racing seats and I need to know what kind of brackets will work with these or at least come close so I can install them. I can't drive my car again until these are in.
The length from the front holes to the rear holes are 11.5" and the length from the right side holes to the left side holes are like 13.5"

i have some momo seats, and i had to buy adapter brackets to fit my car. I think only a few companys make them. the ones i got have a standard hole spacing on them, but i forgot the dimensions. the part numbers on the brackets were 1096 for the driver and 1097 for the passenger. i got them from www.subesports.com hope this helps some

I have the R-1 seats as well, and I got some metal from Lowes to make the bracket then took the metal to a local welder and had them fabricated for 40 bucks. Most local welders will do it for you for a reasonable price. You don't have to buy the metal yourself but its cheaper that way. I would check with a local welder and see what materials he needs to do the job and then go pick it up a Lowes or Home Depot yourself and save a few $'s.
You could also use your stock bracketing system if you want. I didn't think you could but I meet this guy at a car show recently and he used the stock brakets and welded a bar to connect them together before he attached the sliders to them. That is what I am going to do now is use my stock bracketing system. Hope this helps.

subesport told me I had to buy seats from them or they won't sell me brackets. The guy I talked to seemed to be having a shitty day also.
I've tried a number of times to think of a way to make custom brackets and I just can't come up with any good way of doing it. If anyone has a pic of theirs, that would be great.
I'm hoping that maybe I could use some Tenzo-R or Corbreau brackets without having to modify the shit out of them. I know I'd have to modify a little with whatever I get, but I just don't know what even comes close. This is some stressful shit here. Thanks anyway guys, maybe I'll fine out something soon.

I would think the construction is similar on tenzo and corbeau. If not, any decent metal shop should be able to easily modify the brackets. I can't tell you the measurements without removing my seats.
