Just be careful I ordered a VIS cf invader hood of ebay from a http://www.jtrsport.com and I won the auction on June 8th and I still haven't recieved it yet. I call them and they say they will not know when I will get it. I called VIS and they say they have it in stock too. So just a heads up. Check the sellers reputation by looking at other peoples post about that person/companies service. Good luck.

I am in the same boat... Hail damage + big insurance check = kewl CF hood. emoji

I've been searching eBay, but my buddy who's in the forum all the time said that some of y'all order your CF hoods from some place that ships them dirt cheap. Any other suggestions besides eBay?

If the hood is the VIS brand, I say go for it...BUT make sure the guy has nothing but good feedback.

User banned for scamming members on 2GNT, WIDSM, and CHITOWNDSM. This user and his brother Jason Ames have been involved with theft of parts from other DSM members. This individual is not trustworthy and should not be involved in any type of sale.

The guy I won mine from had nothing but good feedback and I still have no hood. Its been over a month. I have come to the conclusion that this paticular company will wait till they get an order of 10 or more hoods before the make there order from VIS to get the hoods cheaper to sell them at $367. I just wish I would have known about it earlier because I would have spent the extra money so I would have it a month sooner.

it's insured thru them AND paypal, tho, so i'm not worried about not getting my money or anything. i've had to fight a few good battles, but really by checkin a lil feedback and saving a few emails, i've had nothing but good luck with ol eBay...

I just got an email from the company that sold me my VIS cf invader hood off ebay and told me its in the mail and I should recieve it Friday or monday. I hope I get it Friday so I have it for the show this weekend. I will post pics as soon as I get it.
