hey. my brother just got a talon tsi. '95. he doesn't belive me that there isn't any variations in taillights for them. someone tell him i'm right! and what has everyone done to theres besides an eclipse conversion? and if you have pics that would help. thanks. also, how can you tell if its a fwd or awd tsi? thanks

You are correct the tail lights are different, larger and rounded on the ends. and not to mention our center peice holds the license plate while the eclipses is in the lower part of the bumper. As far as what you can do to the talon tail lights, unfortunately theres not a whole lot that can be done to em. You can get Night Shades which is a spray on tint sort of deal, Jason ESi-T would better be able to help you with that. There are some other people that have painted the center peice of the tailights to match the rest of there car. Unfortunately other then that you aren't left w/ many other options. and like you said, theres always the tailight conversion which means new bumper, eclipse bumper. As far as how to tell the difference between the AWD and FWD TSi, there should be badging that says AWD and if you want to be 100% sure get under the car and look to see if you see a drive shaft going towards the rear of the car.

I did mine, look down in this section for the thread "where to buy VHT nite-shades." I just posted a pic there yesterday of the tails done with the nite-shades spray. The "TALON" is done in chrome tape also.
