My passenger seet wont lock into place. I have to rock the seat back and forth really fast untill it locks. Its such a pain in the ass, can someone help?

bwahahaha yea our dsm seats are made of pure sh*t anyways if you look under there, theres a couple springs that hold the two latching arms together i just sprayed wd 40 all over those things and played with the latches seemed like it was froze but thats just me worked for mine but not my gfs car so i dont know
