#52467, "How to polish header heat shield?"

Ive seen a lot of polished heat shields on the board latly, and I think it would look real nice under the hood of my car. So how do I go about polishing my heat shield? Or Do I take it to some place, and what kind of place would do that? Do I just get sum wire sponge and polish my ass away for a weekend or what? Any tools to speed it up. Help me, im anxious to get started. I probbably should have searched before I posted, but its 2am and im going bed, hopefully I can wake up to a good answer I want to hear in the morning. TIA emoji

PS: For all you ricers, notice I said HEADER (singular) not HEADERS (plural) i hate that shit. WOW YOU GOT HEADERS IN YOUR CAR DUDE!?! emoji

I scrubbed mine with a brillo pad them I had a sanding bit for my drill (the one where the sand paper sticks to the end) and I put a rag around it and used some Mothers metal polish and went to town with the drill!

exactly the same. It was a bluish, brownish, purple. lol. I got a tylenol bottle sized bottle of this blue away shit froma cycle shop. $20. OUtrageous. It saved it tho and removed the ugly colors. I have a semi-polished 1 I drive with and I only put 3 bolts in it. I put the stainless bolts on the bling bling 1 at the shows. emoji
