hey i noticed you guys did some stuff with fiberglass, well ive been messing around with it alot and was just wondering how many brushes do you go through?? i mean sh* i did one speaker enclosure and used like 4 brushes is there anyway to save them before resin dries?? i used alcohol,thinner, and finger nail polish nothing works.

im no expert.. nor am i either of those menchened above.. but i think you could wrap a plastic back around it and stick in in the freezer.. i think you can do that with paint.. so perhaps with resin too..

i have alot of experience with building fiberglass boats, and we use either acetone, or methyl ethyl ketone. just immediately put the used brush in a 100% solution right after you use them when theyre still wet. after that, rinse them with a mild detergent and your set, hope that helps,

hey, i just use a bucket with some acitone (sp) in it, they wont last for ever, but long enough for you to use them again

yeah, once the stuff hardens there's pretty much nothing you can do. You have to put it the brush in a can of thinner or something of that sort while the brush is still wet.
