hey i noticed you guys did some stuff with fiberglass, well ive been messing around with it alot and was just wondering how many brushes do you go through?? i mean sh* i did one speaker enclosure and used like 4 brushes is there anyway to save them before resin dries?? i used alcohol,thinner, and finger nail polish nothing works.

im no expert.. nor am i either of those menchened above.. but i think you could wrap a plastic back around it and stick in in the freezer.. i think you can do that with paint.. so perhaps with resin too..

i have alot of experience with building fiberglass boats, and we use either acetone, or methyl ethyl ketone. just immediately put the used brush in a 100% solution right after you use them when theyre still wet. after that, rinse them with a mild detergent and your set, hope that helps, Chris

yeah, once the stuff hardens there's pretty much nothing you can do. You have to put it the brush in a can of thinner or something of that sort while the brush is still wet.
