#52175, "So close but so far! I need good technical help!!!"

Alright, I've worked on these damn power windows for waaaay to long. I got some stock ones off a 95 Talon, so I installed them all fine and everything. Power works, motors work, everything works fine - for about 5 seconds. Starting from the bottom and putting the window up - about half way the window jams or stops or something. As the window raises, the front of the window sort of falls down, then the whole window raises (for a half a second) and then the window get stucks. You have to manually pull up and out on the window in order to get it unstuck. After that point you can keep raising the window to the top. I can move the window all the way down fine....but once I go up and get to the certain point (about halfway) the window "takes a dive" and the window jams!! This happens to both windows and really sucks!! I know its not the power window mechanism because I reinstalled the crank assembly and it does the samething. So now my question is.....what happened?? Is the window falling off the tracks? Or is the window possibly hitting and jamming on something? What could be wrong or causing it to mess up? Maybe I have to reseat the window?!?

I've spent sooo much time on this (4 days!!) and really want to roll down my windows!!! I can't figure this one out....thanks for any help!

Finally got it done....well almost. Had to buy seperate wires and wire them up because I couldn't get the wiring harness off of the wrecked Talon. Everything works except when the drivers window gets like half an inch to the top, it shorts out and blows the fuse (no matter what voltage)....so I'm gonna rip it apart and see whats up with it.

Other than that the things fly up and down and are gonna be super sweet for summer!!! Only bad part is the 350 bucks I paid for 'em emoji (canadian emoji )
