hey anyone know what the easiest way to tap into the headlights is? i'm gonna use an extra channel on my alarm to activate the headlights by remote. i'm setting the output to latched so that's not a problem. anyone know where the wire i would tap into is and what color? it's postive trigger, right? also when activating the headlights are the parking lights/taillights autmoatically triggered as well or do i hafta wire those up to turn on simultaneously? just wonderin b/c you can't normally turn on your headlights w/o the parking/tail lights.

thanks for any info! sry i don't wanna dig through the electrical schematics so i was wonderin if anyone knew off-hand. haha don't wanna take apart the steering column to trace wires to the switch either... emoji

i'm gonna be leaving them on for long periods of time. it's just to turn them on by remote like when you're walking to your car at nite. i'm programming the alarm so it's a latched output which disables when the ignition is turned off. that way they don't get forgotten on after a drive if you turned them on by remote rather than manually.

*edit*
oh to clarify i'm not talking about wiring the headlights to flash instead of the parking lights nor am i talking about having the headlights turn on when the alarm is triggered. i am using an extra output channel controlled by the remote. basically an on/off switch on my remote.
