I am thinking about putting a 99 front bumber on my 96 eclipse and I know alot of people have done this.....so could some people post pics of what their cars looks like with a 96 body style and just a 97-99 front bumper on.....Thanks

Mine is a 95, which is the same as your 96, and I have a 99 front bumper and headlights. Check the sig.

i've seen it w/ the blits body kit. personally it doesnt look that great i dont like it. why? b/c the front bumper on the side where the wheel well is it sticks out about 3 inches and looks very unprofessional. the rear bumper doent fit also. and you have to install the 97-99 lights also, in the finished product if you properly install and convert, it probally does look good.
just in case, this is my opinion dont bash me b/c i insulted you car. mine ain that great either lol!

Thanks guys....I just got a 99 front bumber already painted black (same color as my car)and stock foglights for $150 shipped....I thought that was a pretty good deal...Tell me if im wrong....Also I hope my car comes out as good as Manny's cuz that is one awesome car..

Having Problems? Heres my Three step solution to anything 2gnt related.
Step 1: Put down everything in your hands.
Step 2: Grab a lucky strike, Smoke it.
Step 3: Walk to the fridge, double fist some keystone ice, sit down in the shade, drink one beer, finish cigarette, drink other beer, roll a joint, smoke it, walk back to your problem, and in about 5 minutes the solution will come to you.

i just read it like 3 times and i'm kinda lost too. what's so hard about changing the headlights and bumper? as long as you got the right size tools, it's not that hard.

i was talking about the blitz body kit for the 97-99 eclipses, i've seen them on the 95's and i was saying they looked like shit the front bumper sticks outta the wheel well like 3 inches and you have to modify the rear bumper b/c the groove doesnt match the car.
but the 97-99 stock bumpers obviously from what ya said fit w/ no problems on the 95-96.

um...is this night of the living dead?

This is probably because it was a shitty body kit. There is no difference in the 95-96 and the 97-99 with the exception of the bumpers and the headlights. If the blitz kit was that bad on the 95 it would look exactly the same on a 97-9
