Anyone know anything about painted chrome? It's supposed to look just like chrome but I've heard that the finish doesn't last long...

Anyone have some input?

my friend did it and it flaked, but i dont know, it never looked bling bling, just looked like hubcaps that are "chrome" lol goodluck. you can always send your wheels to get them dipped for a couple hundred

LOL...i just responded to doug96gs' post about a similar thing...


a while back me and my friend painted the stock rims on my 89 dodge colt "chrome". it actually help up until the car died (10k miles later). we didnt do much prep work at all either, just cleaning with alcohol. of course, i could have just been lucky, who knows?
