#51571, "Battle Z/ Blitz Rear Need Help"

I recently tried to put on a Blitz/Battle Z rear, fiberglass, and I couldn't get it to fit at all, I couldn't get it to lay properly, it seemed like the mold was bad. The place I got it from said they have to cut the bottom to make it work. I dont like other people workin on my car, so I want to make sure that the rear sopport doesn't have to come off... I was under the impression it DID NOT have to come off with the Blitz, or is it only the Blitz Polyurethene Blitz that can keep the soppurt?

I dont want to go there and tell them to leave the soppurt on and then it would have to come off. . .

I'll tell you this much i have a 95 eclipse and am doing an upgrade. In other words changing front bumper/headlights to 98 there is a diffrence got my blitz kit had to do some minor mods to the reinforcmentin order for it to fit in my oppinion it was simple but then again i own a paint & body shop it all depends on your skills and tools of course if you dont have a grinder lets say which was vital in cutting some minor pieces off then id suggest you go to a shop and let them do it but no not all the reinforcment must go only a bit here and there emoji if you plan on doing it i only shaved a bit from the middle of it and no not the middle of the reinforcment but then ends some from the middle on each end hope this helps

i had the same problem just recently... the fiberglass blitz bumper i bought was horrible, it didnt fit at all. they recommended me finding another one, so i went to some place and bought a new fiberglass bumper, same blitz style. it fit perfectly with no problems. they didnt have to touch the reinforcement. i guess its just where you get the kit from and how good their mold is.

Most fiberglass blitz kits (Front & Rear) require you to remove the reinforcement bar. However you can trim off portions of the front bar to make it fit. The rear bar is questionable. The space between the trunk and bumper may not be enough for the bar. My rear blitz bumper was a nightmare. i had to cut off a the bottom section where the exhuast was. Note the pink bondo on the sides of the rear bumper!

Good luck
