#50674, "power locks/windows PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!"

Sorry, this is the 3rd time i've posted this and i haven't got a reply yet. Can someone help me out, maybe look at your wires/plugs, anything? I installed factory power window regulators and lock actuators the other day. I ran all the new wires from the dash plug into the door for the locks/windows/switches/speakers etc.. I made sure everything was hooked up right and all fuses were good, but still nothing works except the speakers. Is there something under the dash, or another fuse or something i should check? I really need some help a.s.a.p. so i can get my interior back together. Is there a online manual, or can someone post pics. Thanks ahead

i had manual locks and windows, i bought factory locks and windows from a member of the board, and GSX door panels from mitsubishigraveyard.com. The power stuff i got came with the new wiring from the dash plug throughout the door including switches. All the wires were wired in the dash, so when i plugged it in, in theory it should have worked unless there in another plug or something in the dash that needs to be hooked up. I looked in the owners manual and the only relays/fuses it listed were a window relay under the hood and a lock fuse under the drivers side dash. I checked and these were in place. Is there other relays not listed?

k i'm not sure if there's anything you're missing. how good are you with a multimeter? if you can't figure out what's wrong the next step would be to begin checking where the problem is. diagnosing electrical problems is a major PITA though. is there power going to the switches? the relays? the motors/actuators themselves? check for power at each point from the powersource all the way to the motors/actuators. check all the relays to make sure they're working properly. check to make sure the motors/actuators actually work by connecting them directly to the power source. check for continuity at both ends of wire harnesses. be very methodical and thorough. a single short can make the whole thing malfunction.

it'd help if you have a good understanding of what's going on with the electrical components. checkout www.the12volt.com it's a great automotive electrical forum with lots've info on wiring and relays an stuff.

if you can possibly narrow down where the problem lies it'd be a lot easier to help you out.
