i have a set of carbon fiber tails and was wantin to wire some lights up but not sure what all i need besides lights and the extra wire and tools...what kinda bulbs should i use?...what kinda connecter should i use?

yes...i'm wantin to put the lights in the center peice but need a parts list... i think dino has done this but in the write up in the "sections"part he didnt put a parts list...can anyone help me out on this?

that mod is for the stock center piece... i dunno how well that's gonna work with a CF one. what you're doing is taking off some've the backing on the stock one so it will allow some light to shine through. if you can do this to a CF one without screwing up how it looks without the lights on then i guess it would be ok. i guess you'd need to use red lights too b/c you don't have the red outer plastic like the stock one...

buy

2 194 sockets ... make sure they arent too big .. look for the smallest size socket



you are going to have to drill

2 holes in the frame of the car directly behind the lens itself ( so the wiring reaches with ease and the sockets fit )

2 holes in the center piece directly behind the lens (make sure to clean out the shavings )

splice the running light wire only to the 194 sockets and your in buisness

yea...but one thing...i wanna be a lil bit differant...i want the right light in the center peice to be a tail light,turn signal,and brake light...and the same with the left light...and have the left light up with the left and the right to light up with the right...is this possible?

you dont have enough room in there to run a dual filament bulb. any bigger than a 194 will melt the reflector !~~! trust me ( i melted my first set ) there is a way to make the 194 a blinker and running light but it wont be insync !!~~!! lol with the regular blinkers

do u think i could take a junk talon tail light...cut the peice were the bulb goes out and mold it to my carbon fiber ones?and i know i would have to cut a big hole in the sheet metel behing the tails
