I have already painted most of the trim in my car maroon. however, there are a few more pieces and I'm not exactly sure how to remove them in order to paint em.

1. The oval plastic thing around the lever that opens the door.
2. The trim around the cupholder thing, by the e-brake
3. The vents that can be seen when the door is open, that go into dash.

Please let me know how to remove these parts, thanks in advance.

The oval piece, there is one screw behind the lever, you have to pull the lever out like your opening the door, then u see the screw. Remove the screw then take out the oval piece with a flathead.

The vents on the dashboard, being covered by the door...use a flathead and pop it out.

Most of the things for the interior of our car is being held in through either clips or screws. Everything is mostly pressure pushed in and can be taken out with very little effort.
It took me about a day(total) to remove my ENTIRE interior of my car to paint it.

Hey, just a caution, the vents behind the doors, and the cupholder trim come out easily with a flathead like said above, but be careful with the door handle part, i broke the clips off one side, so i took the door panels off to get to them. While you're at it, take the vents at the top of the door if you haven't already, i hadta take that panels off again to get those.

Deze2g, in your bottom right picture of your sig, you have vent trim painted white on your door. How did you remove that? Just use a flathead?

For the vent on the door panel you have to remove the door panel. Pretty easy, just 2 or 3 screws, towards the front and back, and the think pops out. Just don't lose any of the red clips that fall out.

Hey, the piece around the door vent isn't white it's brushed aluminum, it came with the dash kit. I get alot of comments about it. It's hard to believe but yes i got the kit from ASS-ylumms. Here is a closer look. As for paint, i have the door vents, center vents, and a few various little parts done. Since the pic, i did the door handles and the window vents on the top of the door panels. And i've also been asked if i painted around my guage cluster, nope thats a euro dash.
