I was thinking about putting a motorized tv their also. I already have my screen in my dash. here's a pic. Also, what kind of computer are you planning on putting in there. Do you know about the mini-itx computers that are only 17cm x 17cm? Hit my email if you have any questions about it.

I'm just gonna warn you. If you build an ATX computer, use PLENTY of fans. My first carputer was a PII ATX and it over heated all the time. just a warning for you.

yea i had planned on having quite a few fans running in the enclosure i have that im pretty sure im gonna use to house it i have 6 fans running in there, i mean heat inside of a car is always gonna be an issue but i have sum software that logs the temp of the processor and the rest of the internals and if it gets past a certain temp the unit shuts down , but you said you had a carputer what kind of setup are/where you running

I was running an AMD Celeron 1Ghz Processor w/ 512MB of Ram. I had a NVIDIA Geforce 2 MX 400 Video Card ran to my 6.4" Audiobahn LCD. It was great for funning mp3's and mpeg's.
