I own a 97 RS and I want foglights like the factory GS-GSX ones. Anyone know exactly what components I'll need from the dealer to add this option? Part #'s and prices would be helpful. Also is there anyother option or suggestions?

It all depends. I also have a 97 RS, And all I did was put a pair of driving lights (fog lights dont do anything, get driving lights) As for harnesses, I just used the wires that came with the lights and put the switch where I wanted.

Go to Wal-mart, and go to the autmotive section. Find some foglights that are round, and look as if they'd fit the holes. Then take out the black holders that hold the foglights (They're only held in by a screw) and use an exacto knife to cut a circle justbig enough to get the light in, out of the middle of it. Then wedge the light in, and run the wires to your ground and parking lights -- and switch can be mounted where your power mirrors would be if you had them, to the left of steering wheel. <-----That's how I did everything. My exact fog lights are called, "Diamond Blue Blazer Fog Lights" Costed $80, good stuff. Hope you understand everything, if you need more help, e-mail me.

I believe the factory fog lights are $200 each. My friend had a 5 finger discount at the local auto store, so he used that up before it expired.
Anyway, just a little bit of modification and they fit perfectly. Just connect the wires to the foglight wires under the car (they are there, GS+ models come with it, so mitsubishi just left it there without the foglights for us RS kids.)
Order the factory fog light switch and it all works perfectly. This is what I did, I didnt want some cheesy light-up switch in my ride.
