#49099, "Combat/Kamikaze bumper w/2" drop?"
May-31-03 02:11 PM by SpreadEagle

Forgive my newbiness, I have read alot of the older posts over the last few days, but I'd like to hear from someone with the Kamikaze front bumper form spoilersetc.net (like the Combat from Andy's). I've seen some pix where it looks like I could get away with it and some where it looks like it wouldn't last a day with Sportlines. My other choice is a urathane Blitz, I'm not crazy about it but time for a change, plus buying projectors will cut into the paint budget. I've heard the urathane Blitz fits fairly well (unlike the Kamikaze) but I'm not sure all the urathane Blitz ones are coming from the same mold.

Thanks so much for the responses guys! Chrysler Kid-it's hard to tell if that gap is from the bumper sagging or if it had to be bowed to fit right, maybe a supprt bracket would help??? Aggression-your bumper doesn't look too low to live with at all, here's one of the pix I saw that scared me away from the Combat at first

I'd ruin that the first day in my area

well Im low, very low and let me say this, how do you drive? Do you always think about if there is a rain guter of a hilly driveway? Do you slow for everything that look bad? Then you will be fine. Your best bet is to drive with a new bummper for at least a 2 weeks so you can get a feel for it so if you do crack it, you wont cry as bad when you do

I've never been one to take it real easy, but with a couple hundred dollars riding around on the front of my car I could definately adjust. That pic that turned out to be a photoshop had me thinking there might be a few places I wouldn't be able to get into at all. Thanks for the input everybody, I'm gonna take the plunge with the Combat kit from spoilersetc.net, unless anyone has some horror stories about them. How much you wanna bet as soon as it gets here somebody will start making it in urathane?
