Can you tell any difference as far as downforce is concerned? I would like the front to stick to the ground a little bit better, especially on the interstate, and I didn't know if this would help. Thanks.

I heard that its only functional once you go over 90mph, and I was only driving 60-70mph on the interstate, b/c you could hear it scraping on the ground at high speeds. I took it off the next day, which was the 2nd day I had it. Too bad, that thing shure did look mean. 1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS 10th Anniversary OZ Edition Check Out My Site For Pix http://mywebpages.comcast.net/EclipseRaceR/MyEclipse/VIS%20CF%20Hood/

i'm still wondering how mine has lasted for 2 1/2 months so far with mine being a daily driver and scraping all the time. but yeah, it does look mean and it should pull the front down on the interstate. it's bolted on well so any air hitting it is going to push it down along with anything attatched to it. later

They are about $200 shipped Then there is a guy making the same thing, but in carbon fiber that looks hella mean w/ a cf hood. He is on dsmtalk or tuners I cant remember, but he sales them for $200 w/o shipping. I'll find the link for you tho. Well I cant find the link to that guy who made the cf ones, if you really want it, just ask around, Im shure sumone will be able to help you out more than me. Another reason that I forgot to mention was that I didnt securly have that lip mounted under the bumper, there are like 22 screws I only did the MAIN 8 thats already in the bototm of the bumper. so my sides were drooping down. I think I will put that thing back on just for shits and giggles. 1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS 10th Anniversary OZ Edition Check Out My Site For Pix http://mywebpages.comcast.net/EclipseRaceR/MyEclipse/VIS%20CF%20Hood/

I would be concered at high speeds and highway driving, with only 1 to 2 inch clearance that lip would probably get ripped off if you were to hit a bump or imperfection (like surface slabs shifting or cracking road lanes) on the road surface, plus add the fact that at high enough speeds the front of the car is going to lower a bit because of the downforce the lip produces so that 1 or 2 inchs will end up shrinking to less than that.

so far i've done 100 mph on the highway bumpy and smooth and i've had no problems. tru i only have 3 inches max if i'm lucky but it's held up just fine. the guy selling the c/f ones is nick from dsmtuners.com. his screen name is gsxtcy. and here's the link:
