hey guys..

i finally got my car back from the shop..but i have a prob with my drivers side headlamp. Whoever had the car before me tried prying the headlite apart and then when i tried sealing it (cause of the water leakage).. it did no good. My only option is to replace that one headlamp. Its the stock black housing. Is anyone here selling one? i am not interested in paying factory prices.. well let me know. my email is glogurl@aol.com

thanks guys

I'm pretty sure I have that one, but I need to check in my parents garage to see what kind of condition it's in before I make you a deal on it. If it's in good shape, it's yours. What do you think it's worth?

check the sale/wanted section.... 97-99 headlights do go up for sale every now and then... all else fails... partstrader.com and dsmtrader.com... even ebay

also, im sure that you can re-seal your current headlamp... just re-open them... clean them up, get rid of the old glue/sealant.. and then re-seal them with rtv sealant. good as new.. and while you are at it, you cant paint the housings yellow to match your car

^^what once was^^

^^what is now.. and permanently^^

Yeah if it's just asealed problem and there is no amage you can reseal it, they sell window sealer in a tube I redid mine because they were leaking.

And I lik ethe headlights black, I like a little contrast in the car.

well i could not open the current headlamp to reseal it.. so i just resealed it from the outside and its just as bad as it was before.. I would rather just get a new headlamp..and then mess with the damadged one later.. maybe offer it to someone else having that problem. But i'm not sure what a used stock headlamp is worth.. i know the sets go for like 300 new.. so if u can find yr stock lamp and its in good shape. send me an email at glogurl@aol.com .. and we'll talk =).. and thanx for the other advice from evreyone else bout the resealing .. as far as painting them.. i like em black.. to much yellow is just too much.. haha. thanx guys
