Well heres the scoop...i have a rs w/o power windows or locks, and i added power locks, but they didnt come with a button, you just lock one side manuly, and the other one locks...vice versa. My question is this, ive come across a friend with a wrecked gst, and he has the real nice interior door panels, can i somehow get his powerwindow stuff to work in my car w/ his door panels?

the easyest (spelling?) way i could imagine is swap out the entire door or just disasemble the door and try to remove the entire power window motor and linkages. you may also want to use the gst door panel since the already have the buttons and look better than the RS panels. let me know how this works out. ive been thinking about doing the same thing but i cant find anything at the wreckers in my area.

i had manuel windows too but what i did was i searched the internet and i found an electronic shop in my area that sell univeral power window kits. Only took an hour or 2 to install an its so easy. Costs only 130$! also raises ur car's value 500 dollars cuz that power windows. lemme know if u want the link to the site i mite be able to find it. lates

and oh yeah... u cant just switch internals on that gst to to the conversion, the whole window mechansimn setup is different. only way that would work is if u switch the whole dooor and wire it up!
