ok guys i need your honest opinion, ever since i was a little kid i've love strobes i put strobes everywere in my room basment halls i just love em, when ever i get pulled over i just love staring at the cop cars strobes so i decided i wanted to put strobes on my car, yes i know they're illegal put i plan on just turning them on for shows and in parking lots, so far i have 14 strobes installed all over my car and i think they are hott and so does everyone else that has seen them but my question is do you gus think is is ricey and how bad of rice do u think it is like would you put it in the same riceyness stage as them gay ass nozzle led's or the new one that i just say the wiper spoiler led's, i hate hondas with a passion and hate the fact that because they put a coffee can and sum type r stickers on they're car they think they hella fast. so please enlighten me in what you think and if anyone can host a 25 sec video i'll show everyone what they look like

Rice or not, I say build the car the way you want and f*ck everyone else's opinion!

I used to be totally against the "rice" way of building a car, but Rice gets you noticed. What's wrong with a little flash.

Will I put a big "Type R" sticker on my car...Hell no! Rice done in taste is nice, but over do it and you might be the subject of a few jokes!

Have fun with your Ride!!!!!!

man ur car is not rice, its beautiful. there's nothing wrong with having some lights or anything else you want on your car - as long as its done sparingly. I have underbody lights on my car and got free nozzle lights with them, i hardly ever turn them on but they're on my car b/c when both are on, i like the way it looks. It's not because i want my car to be fast when its' not. People get crazy trying to define "rice", its getting to the point where doing anything to your car that doesn't add HP is rice...i say that's bullshit. Its your car, and you do what you want for it!!!

Heh, once my car doesn't look stock anymore I'm gonna do some lighting. Just no LED's. Strobes are cool. If I had a full show car I'd get a 12v converter and a fog machine in the trunk with a piping system to blow it out under the car. Park, hit the button, flip the lights on, and blow everyone else away! LOL

As was said earlier, build the car for you, no one else. What colors you thrwowin in? I hope its not blue, then our cars will start to get too much alike emoji

i had a fog machine in my car until it got jacked a year ago. it was wicked cool, the inverter was useful for a lot of things too.

EDIT: recently, i acquired a used fog machine with a broken pump. i bought an OEM Honda Civic fuel pump, so i'm going to jury rig something together. what i really want to do is to hook the fog machine up to my turbo timer so that when i take the key out of the igniton and for the 3 minutes or so that i turbo time fog will come out from under the car. would be pretty funny. yeah, it's rice, but it's pretty creative and i've never seen anyone else do it.

Hey, nothing wrong with strobes, if your using them for showtime. But if your just flahin them everywhere you go, then thats kinda lame. imo. Hey, if you wanna host that file, let me know. I still got some space around. find me on AIM (ALF702), or on ICQ (7931777), once I get the file I'll upload it and send you the link for it.

itd look good. personally i have hardly any lights on my car but thats because im too lazy to fool with them a gain and doing the switches otherwise i would have some =). if someone thinks its rice then F them. im almost going to get like fast n furious wrote all away across my car just to piss ppl off because im so sick of hearing rice this rice that. rice is a honda that is primered and sounds like a pissed off lawn mower and that has more $$ in plastic on his car than his car cost to buy in the first place.

I have two blue and two white strobes... but i'm not sure where to mount them. Where did you put yours? I was thinking either in the backup lights, headlights, along the sunroof... or maybe under the sideskirts.

Anyone know anyone who can help me tune this in the Pittsburgh area (Greensburg)?

if they are the small headlight strobes.....you could put them in your heater vents. I am taking out my rear speakers and replacing them with strobes and the other two are going in my doors behind some new transparent speakers, thats for the big full size ones. For small ones i am thinking about how i could mount them in my wheel wells and still be able to clean them. Like a plexi housing or something that they can shine through without being easily damaged. Just my opinion n whatnot emoji

I have strobes inside my headlights and rear lights, but they're hooked up to my alarm. The only time they'll go on is if my alarm goes off. Looks pretty cool when someone tampers with with my car, cuz the alarm will go on and so will the strobes.

Lights. My question is why, I see kids running around here in their wang chung Civics and some Mexicanized low-riding S-10's with neons and lights strobing all over the place. I find it utterly ridiculous, I don't think its attractive even in shows. Do what you want though, your car looks damn nice as it is.

hey man, it's all about what you want. thank god this forum doesn't flame you for having an opinion. i have a cf center section on apc altezzas with strobes mounted inside. i just need to wire them and install the front ones. i know some people say it is ricey but if we all had a blitz kit and the same setup wouldn't this forum die?
