i used leds to replace my dome lights and painted the whole thing black. it lights the interior nicely and dosent drain the batter if the door don't close all the way

it looks much better in person the camera don't get everything the way it looks

thanks guys... i've also replaced the other stock lights w/leds, the foot lights, glove box, and trunk... i'm getting ready to add some leds to light the back seat up, running them from the dome or foot lights, as well as more trunk lights to light up my sub

and i'm doin' a custom center vent that i haven't had the time to work on lately, but when it's done i'll post some pics, it'll be verry tight

you can just buy the LED lights. 3022 for your dome, 194 for you foot wells and glove box. look on ebay.

well it wasn't to hard realy, pretty much i used the hvac mod to do them
i cut the wires running to the lights wired in an led+resistor setup and shoved them where the old lights used to be, i made sure they were snug then put a dab of super glue on them.

the dome light was harder, i tried to solder the wire of the led to where the bulbs woulda gone but the solder wouldn't stick

so i had to cut into the wires that led to the proper places then cut the holes into the dome light stuck the leds through and put a dab of super glue on the back of em.

next i'm doin' my gauge needles when i get my reverse gauges then i'm gonna start focusing on that center vent !!!

btw, mario is the shyt... where i work everyone calls me luigi cuz i'm itilian and our uniform is green, my one friend won this from a claw game machine and give it to me. so i just keep it in my car so she don't get mad and say that i got rid of it or sumtin.

looks nice bro! i've got most've the lighting done for mine already. any particular reason you went w/ home made LED's instead of the direct replacement bulbs? i've got the ones in my dome that pop right in and they prety much light everything the same as if i'd used regular LED's. the only difference would be that each bulb comes w/ 4 micro LED's so there's a lot less issues with spotting. i still hafta swap the ones in the foot wells an stuff. other than that i've already done the HVAC, cig lighter, defroster, etc... still gotta do the needles once i buy some reverse gauges.

well i want to do this custom center vent so i nedded allot of leds, so i bought a 100 of them some for sale by the way check the for sale page, then i decided to do a custom dome light and since i already had the leds why not do all the lights

i love it it looks real good
