I have discovered a new mod. (at least I think it's a new mod) When I was putting my center console back together after I finished installing my new gauges I forgot to connect the light to the lighter. (the one that lights up the ring around it). It turns out that the light is right under the shifter boot and it lights up the shifter boot kinda like how you can put a flashlight under a blanket and you can see the light coming through the fabric.

I should mention that I dont have my stock shifter boot. I made one with a kinda plether material (blue) and now the boot lights up blue

I havent decided if I like it or not, but I thought I would share my discovery with you guys.

Thats kinda cool, I have a A/T so i cant do it.

yep, i have a white boot and my bulb is painted blue so it shines through the boot blue

I thought about a trick for shows. Putting a Razo Gungrip knob on and addng a shift boot to my auto. I talked to a guy today. He thought my car was a 5 speed GS-T. It's an auto RS. He was really cool. Gave me props. And got lots from me.

Yeah i got a auto also, Now could we realy do that thing with the shit boot because I think it would look tight.
