it could be dirty or if someone cleaned it with windex which is a no no then it streaks it how you described it, and if so time for new tint. soap and water tho im pretty sure is what its supposed to be cleaned with. been awhile since ive had tint.

I had my windows tinted 5% by a local shop and it is fine. Jsut hard to see out of. I have had it done for probaly close to a year. Cost 160. If yours is messed up i would have it striped and redone.

Your actually supposed to clean it with a special cleaner that you can get at any auto place. It sucks cleaning with it though, it jus beads up and seems like it rolls off, but it gets the job done emoji. I eould suggest getting new tint, also was teh previous owner a smoker? That could also have a lil impact on things. I would try cleaning it first, then get it retinted if it still sux.

You can also use the blue winshield washer fluid to clean it. Thats what the tinter told me to use if I couldnt get the special tint cleaner. Ive got mine 10% all around and no probs seeing even at night.

you can use any window cleaner as long as it says safe for window tint. i have some foam window cleaner and it work a heck of a lot better than windex and crap like that. i get no streaks whatsoever.
