Is their a difference between a automaitc and manual center console?I just did a manual conversion and was wondering how to put on the shift boot because the 2g eclipse i have seen that are manual almost looks like their is some kind of rim aroun it. heres a pic of what im talking about

How do i put the shift boot on the bottom?And what is the round ring looking part that makes part of the shift boot go up around the shifter?
