Hey guys my car is going into the shop tomorrow to get the sides and back of my kit molded, my rear wiper shaved, (antennas already done), my interior done and my car painted white with orange pearl. Now the question i have is, i want to get one of those aluminum stylish type of gas caps, that are the circle kind and stick on the outside of the car, are those hard to find? any specific kind i need? are the expensive? would they just mold the stock cover i have closed and then cut out the size needed to put that one in? I mean it cant be that much more expenzive seeing as to what i am getting done anyway. If anyone can help me out A.S.A.P that would be great! My car is in the shop from april 29th til may 7th, so please let me know. thanks,

if you are referring to the gas cap door like on the 3g eclipse, that will obviously not fit stock. im sure it costs quite a bit to make it fit, as they will have to fill in the square piece w/ fiberglass and/or bondo, cut out a circle piece to fill the circular cap, paint it, install it, etc. u can find the 3g gas door cap off of ebay, the plastic ones are usually around $30 and the metal ones are about $100. hope this helps

I can't come across any off of e bay, they are all really old looking and/or tacky. I know they are all universal, cause it just has to get molded in anyway so...i could get one from a mustang if i wanted couldn't I ? I dont see it being a problem. If someone can find one off of e bay or knows of any sites that sell em, please let me know. thanks!

I've always liked the way the gas cap on the Viper GTS looks. I'm not sure how it would look on an Eclipse though.

hahaa, actually i think that was one of those hideous stickers that has a look-alike print on it so it looks like you have a door like that, but you just peel and stick it onto the old door...could be wrong tho
