Ok, Im gana be painting my stock RS 14's Black. I dant wana speend alot of cash on powdercoating them, I was figureing just a good couple good layers of paint. What would be the best type of paint?

Hey man, if you know Mike Jefferson who had the black 96 turbo, he lives in our area and he painted his stock swirlies black and it looks great, knowing him since he's getting rid of the car, he might just trade you.

Yeah i have done this before on a set of 1G rims, What i did was I did a good sanding, then I blasted them witrh a power washer, them I hit them with a very thin layer of whell primer, then I did that 2 more times and after that I sprayed them with paint from VHS paints, its made for rims and all that shit. After the first coat I sanded a bit then I did that 2 more times and then the top coat and 4 coats of clear. But your top coat is only as good as your primer!
