I'll start by saying I am not surprised. Nothing ever works for me the first time or 2nd, even 3rd for that matter . I have had my kit on since Feb, but half. The day I installed the drivers side something burned up. Well I replaced the ballast. That wasn't it. I tested it to the working HID. Then I tested the wiring to the left one working, that worked fine. So that left only the HID bulb. Had that replaced...and still NOTHING!. I am about to give up all together. What can this be? I switch over to a halogen bulb and the light works. So the stock wiring isn't bad. I replaced all parts, but nothing. HELP!!!

New symtoms: The working HID lights up, but the other side halogen is low, BUT on low beams both sides the highbeams are also on very dim. When I switch to highbeans, the HID and highbeam work but the driverside all go out. What's going on?

so what's not working exactly? sorry this's kinda confusing... if your pass. side stuff is working fine you should be able to first just swap the ballast to test, then put back the pass. ballast and instead swap the HID bulbs to test that. what happens if you take out your HID's on both sides completely and put back your normal bulbs? does everything work normally? you wanna make sure it's the HID's and not your car first of all. i'm assuming your kit's the same as mine so it's just a pair of ballasts and a pair of bulbs...

I swapped between the two side the ballast and all the wiring. The ballast was replaced. All worked fine, on the pass. side when I did that. And just now the non working side the bulb was also replaced. That's the only thing I have left to do is switch the bulb to the pass. side, which is what I will try to do later today.
In response to my own 2nd post: I tuned the lights on this morning and the HID came on along with the drivers side regular bulb. The issue with the dim lights and dim highbeams went away, for now..

ur problem is ur wires got hot and melted themselves together, somehwere along that line the wires got pinched togwther and there touching and making a short.......find the short and wrap electrical tape around them to seperate and u will b all good to go!
Boostless and loving it! Way to many mods to list!

O.k I know the problem is not to any part of the HID kit. I installed all the replaced parts to the pass. side and they work. The problem is somewhere in my stock drivers side wiring. If it helps that side was replaced in Aug from an accident. Could the parts to the headlight be cheap and cause problems? I only found one thing disconnected. Anyone know what this is? or now what the problem might be? I looked around but don't see any wires burn or so..

k what does the disconnected part look like? there should just be one harness which plugs into the main housing (this harness controls both high and low beams). the harness for the blinker is separate and is attached directly to the blinker bulb. if it's not too much trouble you could try swapping your headlights. then you can determine whether it's the wiring on the headlight unit or the wiring harness attached to the car. just remove the pass. headlight unit and plug it in to the drivers side harness. should plug right in unless they change a lot of the wiring. if everything works fine like that then it's wiring in your driver's headlight itself.

Here is the diconnected plug. Comes from all the wires that go into the bottom of the fuse box. I'm getting to the point that I am going to take the HID out and sell it, cause I am so sick of all this.

hmm.. lemme go see if i have one like that... don't sell the HID"s man! they're cool! and it's not your HID's that're giving you shit it's your wiring. once you get everything working right you'll love 'em. sometimes when i drive other cars i kinda questions whether the headlights are even on... they're so dim once you've driven w/ HID's

I know it's not the HID but I find it odd that one HID and one Halogen work fine, and have worked fine for over a month now, but when I try to install the other HID it just goes crazy. Like if my car can't handle the load or something. That would be the only reason I'd sell. Cause I know nothing compares to HID. I've wanted them for the longest time. I've had people come up and ask, what kind of bulb is that? It is 10X better.
