I'm in the process of finishing the hvac mod right now but i took out the top part (the one with the two vents .. back windshield wiper..rear defroster) .. and one of the cables came loose and i dont know where it has to go back to .. the one right next to the right vent .. ahh i think its to make the air cold/warm .. if anyone knows where this long black cable has to be connected back to it'd be a great help! thanks

it connects to the rolly switch to the right of your passenger vent. your right, its for adjusting the cold/hot air commin from the vents. there is a lil stub that the eye on the cable just goes over onto and clicks. hope this helps!

its under the dash on the passenger side behind the center consule, after looking for awhile you see what i'm talking about(mine come off too, took me forever to figure out where it went)
