#43879, "cutting interior pieces"

Hey, I just bought some audiobahn speakers and they wont fit in the doors. Well they will fit, Ill have them in the door, but when I go to put the cover back on, it pushes on the center of the grill. So basically, if I cut out the little fake grill on the RS doors they will fit w/o a problem. So my question is, what would be the best way to cut out those grills while keeping everything nice and neat. TIA

I had this problem to...all you have to do is cut the ridge off the back! Don't cut the grille out of the door itself or it will never look right again!

There's just a ridge around the grille on the back, just hack that off and use a dremel, but use a sanding bit or something. If you use the cutting bit you'll bind up and run it through the panel, it's happened before!

well i didnt have to resort to cutting the doors. I just hacked the hell out of the cup that the speakers rest in and they barely fit. They sound really good, thanks guys
