YAY! It's always fun to do stuff like that. I stripped everything behind the front seats one time and kept it like that for over a month. After that amount of time, I had no more excuses to the fiance why I needed to keep all those interior psrts out on our balcony. emoji
Makes you wonder, if you could shave 800lbs off a 2GNT, how much HP would you need to run with the stage2+ guys...

For anyone that is wondering on where to get the parts, Menards! 4X6 roll of carpet runners (no grooves!) i got the color blue denim (matches the 96 bluish interior) and just cut to fit. i also heated the carpet so the rubber underneith would conform to the curves of the bare metal underneith. it is held on by the seatbelt bolts which did a fine job! if anyone has any questions, u can reach me on aim at "Silvernt DSM"

There is a line you can cross where it becomes rediculous. Removing passenger seat...you totally giving up luxury of the car....kinda pointless....seems like something a CRX would to try and keep up. But as far as removing stuff that is pointless (spare, jack, rear seats ect..) if you can make it light, but still look nice - then your in the green.

This is what I put in place of the back seats. Didn't really do anything for weight savings, but my car is slow anyways.
