ok I bought a turbo wing for really cheap WITH the hatch because someone was parting out their car so I just took the whole hatch..anyways... the hatch/turbo wing has no tint..i just tinted my windows or else i'd just paint the whole hatch and swap different hatches.. or do you think it would be cheaper to just paint the turbo wing and fill in my old 3 piece spoiler holes? Or should I just sell the wing..cause i think i might look like rice with a turbo wing from a 97-99 GST/GSX when my car is a 95/96 GST.. i don't want care for rice...i might just sell the wing and or hatch or whatever and use that money to buy performance parts.

I'm in the same shoes right now. I bought a black turbo wing without putting much thought into it and now I'm finding out it's going to cost alot to get it done right.

The turbo wing doesn't match up with the holes from the 3-piece, it just covers up some of the old holes. You'll have to properly align the wing, drill new holes, and make sure it's rust proofed. And of course, make sure the wing seals properly so water doesn't get in.

Then you have to worry about the holes from the side pieces. There are alot of them. You would have to get them filled and most likely have the panels repainted.

You could have a body shop paint the wing, fill the holes and install the new wing, but from what I've read on the boards, that's going to be at least 500 bucks.

I'm thinkin of ways to do this for as little money as possible. Still brainstorming ideas. emoji

i think it would be cheaper to get the window tinted and the whole hatch/wing repainted. body shops will completely rip you off if they have to fill those holes(if they do it correctly). but money for performance parts is always a good thing!!!
