Okay, I got a used Greddy SP cat-back and it came in today. I'm so excited about getting it on. It's a little dirty but otherwise beautiful. I used a towel and some cleaner to get off some of the dirt on the tip and it shines like new, except for around the very tip of the tip....the residue is a lot thicker there and is difficult to get off with paper towels and 409 cleaner. I don't want to ruin the polish on this, just clean it up. Anyone have any ideas? I have a bottle of Brasso at home, will that do it?
I feel like a 5 year old at christmas right now WAAAAAHHOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

wax works good only when its clean. my suggestion is when u have her on the road for awhile your going to get major grime on it. my suggestion is use Noxon metal polish. nothing not even wax gets it that shiny. and it destroys any buildup make sure though that u wash the muff down before applying

i use mothers aluminum and mag polish, that shit works wonders, just put a lil on a rag n apply, let sit for a couple mins, then clean off with towel...leaves it shining for reals.

i get all my car care stuff from this place called Griots Garage....it's real good stuff. last time i ordered(two weeks ago), i bought some metal polish.....that stuff cleaned up my exhaust real nice!!! all you have to do is rub it on with the applicator pad and scrub a little in the real dirty spots and then rinse. i was very impressed with the results!!!
