..people will never notice

I'm almost done with all of my body work but it pisses me off that nobody will probably ever notice much of it.

I have shaved the rear key hole, shaved rear squirter, shaved front emblem, and shave both of the side markers in the front end. I almost gaurantee no one will notice the side markers unless they know alot about eclipse/talons.

so what is the biggest mod that you've done that no one will ever notice?

How did you shave your front emblem?? I'm going to paint my front bumper again next week and I want to do that. I also want to do this, MAYBE... I Think it's pretty clean... what do you think?? Check out the bottom front corner, under the side marker. I thought about this a LONG time ago, but always wondered what it would look like actually on the front end.

I use to have a White 99 GS Sport with a Star Stage II Ball Bearing T3/T4 turbo...it was fun untill....well those who remember me know emoji Oh Ya...this is what I have now... a 99' GSX...

well what we did (i'm no fiberglass expert, but my friend is and i'm just a good sander) was sand a large area from the front emblem. You need it sanded well enough so that the fiberglass has something to stick to. once sanded apply a large piece of fiberglass sheet on with some hardner applied. let it dry and sand it so that it is smooth but don't sand it all away. Put another larger piece over the sanded area and let dry. Sand everything away so that it is smooth all across. You will now have some hi and low spots that need to be taken care of. I used fibergalss reinforced bondo to cover low and high spots. cover entire area with bondo and let dry. Sand everything away agian so that it is perfectly smooth. Now if this got rid of all imperfections then spray primer and apply some glaze to cover minor imperfections. If it didn't get rid of them then i suggest using regular bondo over that because it is much thiner and easier to work with. But after the bondo make sure that you primer it and then glaze is applied and sand that off so that it is perfectly smooth. Now primer it agian to better see if there are any imperfections. It took us about 2 nights a week for 3 weeks to sand the emblem, sidemarkers, rear squirter, rear key hole and stock spoiler holes. The thing that takes time is letting everything dry in between sanding. Its late so i'm sure i missded something.

spent almost $1000 on my exhaust, and everyone thinks i jus got a loud "muffler". A lil over $600 on my suspension and it looks like stock height on stock rims, jus have different rims now emoji. Not to mention the $400 or so in neone plus my $150 on light up gauges that i have installed, that no one sees because its not all hooked up to a switch. So trust me boys.....i hear ya.

My car is stock exterior so most don't know it's a turbo. Some have asked, "Why you have your radiator showing?".. emoji. Of course that has it's advantages..hehe. emoji
But one of the most expensive non appreciated mods is all the dress up pieces and HPC coated pipes, cause I rarely pop the hood for anyone but myself. emoji
