I haven't looked under the dash yet, but is there only 1 or 2 bulbs?

Problem is after replacing the speakers in the doors, i noticed that when you open the pass. door the lights under the dash on that side don't come on. Now if you open the driver side door, the lights on both the driver and pass. light up like normal...WTF...rite?

Anyway, this weekend i planned on taking a closer look but i was seein if anyone has any suggestions 1st.

Thanks!

check to see if your door ajar light is also commin on when you open the passenger side door. i found out when i was installing my alarm that it wasnt and i had to replace the lil switch. if your light isnt working ill bet its the door pin switch.

as far as the lights themselves, there's on each side. (one on drivers on on passengers) they're 194 bulbs. same as our bumper markers.

My car is the same way. When the driver's door is opened, the interior lights come on, but when the passenger door is opened, sometimes they do and sometimes they don't. I think I have a short in my door pin switch or something. If I push it in a couple of times it works again.

I have the same problem as ^^^^^. The door pin switches are kinda touchy as I've been told. But I think if it was the door pin switch then none of the interior lights would come on when the pass. side door was opened. Well I'd try a switch from the junkyard and if that doesnt work for you I'l buy it cause I need one anyway emoji I'd also check the bulb and make sure it's plugged in tight just for S/G's
