Chris and I were talking about what I should paint my interior trim pieces and the black part infront of the speedometer and tach ??? i have a black talon with grey interior. all of my trim pieces like the air vents in the center of the dash and teh trim around the radio are black. the vents in the door are grey. what color should i paint them??? white? Chris suggested purple cause i have purple in the car and under it (neons) please help cause i am tired of this grey shit. also i took off my passenger door and broke a few things trying to take off the door vents to paint them black. now i want a whole new door panel and dont really car WTF it costs. i want to get black velvet material and redo the part above the arm rests with it also. suggestions ???

If you plan on removing all the grey from your interior, I would say something like yellow. Black and yellow contrast nicely. But then again, you might want to replace the purple neon with yellow. I don't know, just a thought.

thats probly what would look good for you, the black ext. get gun metal grey rims, paint the inter black/dark grey with purple or perhaps even a chamelian hilights. and keep the purple neons. get the neon accents inside and in the engine.
this scheem would give you that ghost phantom mean bad ass look only an eclipse can have

Hi Here is my Car....It's Silver with red accents. Just to give you an idea. The pieces are easy to paint as long as you make sure htey are CLEAN and free from OILS ...like your fingers or Armor All. I used Krylon red spray paint. The door handle inserts are EXTREMELY hard to paint. The inserts are made of a waxy plastic that causes the paint to peel off like skin. I painted it with a primer several times and let it sit between coats for several days. Then I painted it red. It stuck but you still have to watch sharp objects like keys....long red finger nails from a hot babe in short....aaarrggg {oops....:-P } sorry about that. Hope you like the look. The wheel cover and shift boot are from Wheel skins. JC Whitney sells them....for cheaper than what I payed for mine!! BTW anyone know where to get white faced HVAC control faces???

Yeah man that looks just like my car but with red, I have black and yellow with a carbon fiber dash kit. Any way if if you car has gray inside I would go yellow, Don't get a gloss paint because you can never get it to be uniform in gloss. So what I did was I got some Krylon FLAT white and sprayed all the parts 3 times, then I used Krylon florescent yellow paint 3 coats for that as well(Oh and yeah they do have Hot Pink for all you fags out there LOL j/k) and after that I put a nice coat of poly seal that I use and car paint at my shop, so you wont have to worry about geting it dirty and it has a nice luster to it. I have my blond with 69 inch red nail in the car at shows and it I never had a scrach yet, and you know how woman are with cars.
