does anyone know if i can just paint the piece between the my taillights or do i have to buy something to match the car?

you can paint it. many have. i chose not too b/c my lights almost match my car color so i didn't bother with it. oh well. oh yeah, it's like 50 bucks from what i know.

It all depends on who you get to paint it. I went one place and was quoted $20-$30....but the guy who I am having do it is painting my center taillight, taillight covers, door handles, and headlight housings all for $35. That's a fatty hook-up though...hehe

so it's just painted on the orginal panel, i don't have to buy a new panel for to do it.

no new panel necessary.. just take off the center piece and have them paint it.
