Red wire with a green stripe, located in the driver kick panel area. Its a negative trigger. So when the door is open, the wire sees a ground. You can also hook up the hatch pin too to the alarm. Its a red with white stripe wire, also located in the driver kick. Negative trigger also.

thanks a lot! hooking up the domelight should be no problem. hehe i've been having a lot of fun adding on extra features to my alarm myself... now that i think about it i should've had the shop do a lot less. just the basics and i coulda added most've the extras they did. now i just gotta finish hooking up my windows so i can control them by remote emoji

k i found the wire you're talking about.. there's actually a particular place you need to tap into it. there's a miniature white wire harness w/ three of those red/green wires coming out of it. only the one all the way to one side triggers the lights. otherwise it only turns on the 'door ajar' light in the dash. i was wondering if there's some other trigger for just the lights or if it's only wired to the same one as the door trigger? ideally i'd like the lights to be triggered by the alarm's output without turning on the 'door ajar' light in the dash... thanks!

you better be carful cause if you accidently ground out anything in your dome light you will short out your blower motor or the relay... trust me it happened to me just putting in a new bulb........ pull off the battery neg before doing anything
