ok, i'll start by saying that i've painted almost all of the stuff that's gonna get painted.....it's only got one coat of clear coat on right now, but it looks freaking amazing! hopefully i'll get some more coats on it tomorrow.(i'll post pics when i get everything done. the red on gray looks damn good!!!) anywho, my question is......how do you get the trim that houses the two center vents out? and how do you disconnect the trim from the foglight and mirror controls? i was able to get that trim out, but everything was still connected to it....so i left that for a day when i have a lot of time to fock with it. any help's appreciated. tia.

you can pull the center part out by grabbing by the middle area between the vents and pulling. the controls for the mirrors and stuff should pop right off. If I remember they should just have a part to push down on the switch and then the switch comes off

Well for the trim that houses the mirror controls...once you have it oulled out...those wire harnesses will have plastic tabs on em. Just push the tabs in...pull the harness outwards.
For the center vents....your gonna need to take off your pass. side kick panel. Reason being....that one knob that goes up and down is like a long wire and it connects to some other point near your firewall..so you need to pull it off that. Then just put your had behind the vents and push out to get the trim to pop out...then you just gotta unhook the harness for your hazards and such.
